Position Summary: Inter Miami CF seeks an exceptional leader as our Vice President & Stadium General Manager
who will provide a shared, leading-edge vision for the Club’s future stadium sites at Ft. Lauderdale and Miami Freedom Park. The VP & Stadium GM is a critical role within the organization, as this person will oversee daily operations, including engineering, maintenance, set-up/tear-down, custodial/housekeeping, and grounds-keeping. This person will provide overall administrative planning, direction, and policies to facility’s staff, assuring the highest quality service for soccer games, concerts and events. This person will also ensure an effective, high quality and cost-efficient outcome for all events and overall stadium operations. The VP & Stadium GM will report to the
Chief Business Officer and work extensively with other departments. The successful candidate will also be expected to play an active role in the stadium development process, including but not limited to design input, information technology and fan experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the strategic vision for the stadium’s operation is defined, developed, and executed, including
major parts of the organization’s P&L such as development of non-core revenue streams (e.g., concerts,
college lacrosse, international soccer, facility rentals, etc.).
• Manage departmental staff and ensure the organizational structure of the stadium is sound and
reporting/line item responsibilities of staff are appropriate.
• Oversee and ensure budgets remain in line with the Club’s strategic plan
• Manage and coordinate daily operations of the stadium, including engineering, maintenance, set-up/teardown,
custodial/housekeeping, and groundskeeping.
• Spearhead all capital improvement projects.
• Review all services for optimization, considering internal and third-party options for all divisions of facility
operations.
• Ensure fan experience is a primary focus and stay ahead of trends in order to achieve continuous
improvement.
• Collect and distribute consumer research and feedback initiatives with other departments.
• Negotiate, administer and manage contracts with outside vendors and labor groups.
• Communicate with appropriate departments and staff relative to a master schedule for all stadium events.
• Collaborate with HR on the development of staff, including hiring, training, coaching and ensuring
compliance with labor & safety regulations.
• Serve as liaison with local officials on facility-related functions (city/county codes, parking, transportation,
security, licenses, permitting, etc.).
• Responsible for the overall health & safety compliance of the facility in accordance with all OSHA
regulations.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 10-14 years of relevant experience in managing sporting / concert venues required.
• Previous experience opening a major sporting facility or as part of a company that interacts with large-scale sports events is required.
• Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing multiple personnel, projects and timelines.
• Ability to analyze and prepare a budget and project/forecast expenses based on industry and historical data with demonstrated success in improving quality and efficiencies.
• Extensive knowledge of facilities management, security, guest relations, fan experience, marketing, event planning/execution, logistics, and the overall success of the facilities.
• Exceptional revenue generation abilities; looking to push the envelope and seek additional revenue
streams.
• Exceptional knowledge and passion for the sport and culture of fútbol with familiarity of Major League Soccer, English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, etc., preferred.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency a plus.
• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience functioning in a 24/7 operating environment and ability to work extended hours and weekends and holidays when required.
