The Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall at FSW is seeking an experienced entertainment-industry marketing professional to lead the marketing department of a 200-event per year building. This position oversees all of the marketing efforts at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, including: strategic institutional marketing, promotion and advertising of events, event publicity, and providing leadership and supervision to the Marketing department.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in a leadership role in a fast-paced event marketing department, preferably within the entertainment industry and/or event management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, creative thinking, and organizational skills
• Thorough knowledge of current marketing techniques and best practices in the entertainment industry.
• Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with major coursework in marketing, event management, advertising, or communications
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities and other competencies necessary for success in the target position


Comments:
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Create and execute marketing plans for each event.
• Monitor progress of marketing efforts and provide analysis of effectiveness of implemented plans.
• Supervise the department and provide guidance and feedback to marketing staff.
• Produce, schedule, and supervise all promotional activities for events.
• Compile and release press materials and coordinate all press functions, artist relations, event hospitality, maintain media resource list, and issue all press credentials.
• Work with show press representatives, artist marketing personnel, and co-promoters to develop and implement advertising budgets for events.
• Work with external parties to develop 3rd party promotional partnerships and sponsorships.
• Maintain a program of market research and disseminate this information to internal and external user groups.
• Review and authorize all payment of event-related advertising and marketing bills.
• Perform related work as required.
