Since 1989, Orlando Venues has served as Central Florida\'s epicenter of sports and live entertainment, with the City of Orlando department overseeing the Kia Center, Camping World Stadium, Tinker Field, Harry P. Leu Gardens, Mennello Museum of American Art and the Public Art program. Collectively, these diverse venues host high-profile sporting events like the NFL Pro Bowl Games, Orlando Magic NBA basketball and three annual bowl games along with big-name concerts including Paul McCartney, Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter and the massive annual EDC Orlando. Starting Salary: $39.62 - $50.52

Job Description:

Performs administrative professional, and supervisory work in Orlando Venues facilities (Kia Center, Camping World Stadium, Mennello Museum and Harry P. Leu Gardens). Primary duties include supervising, overseeing, analyzing, directing, and planning facilities activities of the operation and maintenance sections within the Division. This position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities to ensure operations and maintenance efforts are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Work is performed under general supervision of the Operations Division Manager. Performance is reviewed through conferences, condition of Venues facilities, and reports submitted.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or Facilities Management with three (3) years' experience in the operations and maintenance of public assembly sports and/or entertainment facilities, preferably in collegiate or professional sports and/or entertainment facilities required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, licenses, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required. Certified Facility Management (CFM) designation preferred.

This position requires some nights, weekends, and holidays work.

Note: This position is in Orlando Venues Department

Positions in the Facilities Division must pass police background investigation.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:

Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
